The Under 14 Chargers is for players born in 2012 and 2013. The Chargers compete in the EIH U14 South Division One. Games consist of three 15-minute periods with a stopping clock and lines are free to change on the fly.

Under 14 hockey builds on the skills learnt at Under 12 and is where the rules start to more closely resemble the senior game. Under 14s is full contact, including bodychecking.

With the introduction of full contact, coaches prepare all players on how to protect themselves and their opponents on the ice. And, as with all Junior hockey, fighting is strictly forbidden.
