The Under 12 Stampede is for players born in 2012 and 2013 and will be younger players' first taste of competitive, full-ice hockey. The Stampede play in the EIH U12 South East Division.

Games consist of three 18-minute periods with a running clock. Three set lines change every 60 seconds on a buzzer to ensure that all players get equal ice time. Contact begins to step up in the Under 12 division, but bodychecking is not allowed and players will be assessed penalties during games. This makes the Under 12s a competitive but welcoming introduction to the sport.

Scores and stats are recorded and results go towards the league standings, with the opportunity for the top two teams to take part in the EIH Nationals at the end of the season.
