Ice hockey is a fast-growing sport across the UK, but it is an expensive one. Ice rental, playing kit and training equipment are all essential but significant costs.

 

As part of the local community, Invicta are committed to keeping our training fees as low as possible in order to make hockey as accessible to as many players as possible. We have frozen our fees for many years and do not charge our players extra for game day costs. And all of our coaches, managers and administrators are unpaid volunteers.

 

But none of this is possible without the generosity and support of local businesses and corporate sponsorship. You and your company can help keep the pucks flying and we have a number of branding and sponsorship opportunities available, including:

RINKSIDE ADVERTISING BOARDS

The club are delighted to be able to offer 3m x 1m rinkside advertising boards at Planet Ice Gillingham, which can be fitted with your own bespoke design.

 

• Boards cost £1000+VAT to be displayed for a minimum of 12 months. Price includes all printing and installation costs.

• They are permanently on display during public skating, Invicta training and games, at senior hockey matches with the Dynamos and Mustangs and during ice dance events at the rink.

• Planet Ice Gillingham attracts over 250,000 visitors per year.

• The rink has featured on ITV’s Dancing on Ice when competitors have trained at Gillingham.

• Board displays can be changed at any time at your own cost
   

 

GAME SHIRT SPONSORSHIP

We also offer the chance to sponsor our game day shirts when we update our playing kit. This usually happens every three years, with the club next looking to secure shirt sponsorship for the beginning of the 2026/27 season.

 

• Different sponsorship patches available for different prices: front, back and shoulders

• Minimum three year sponsorship deal

• Invicta Junior Ice Hockey teams wear game shirts at all home and away games, the latter of which take place all across the South of England during the regular season. The teams also play both nationally and internationally during special tournaments.
